It's the first decade of the 21st century. The practice of business has gotten fairly sophisticated regardless of the size of the organization. For example, most senior executives know that the real assets of a company have little to do with plant, equipment, real estate or even money in the bank. Those assets which most differentiate one organization from all others and which are tied to its future success are:
1. Its customers 2. The equity in its brands 3. Its intellectual capital like patents and proprietary systems 4. And its employees
Our philosophy is that of these, employees are the most important asset. That's because employees create the other assets, all of them. What's more, in the US about two-thirds of all economic activity is considered services. Guess what, by definition, services can only be provided by people, your employees. John Behr Group, LLC is devoted to the identification, nurturing and career development of a special class of employees leaders. There can be no higher calling than this for it is leaders who create the future, for your company and for us all.
